Grow your career as a Global Sweet Corn Breeding and Technical Lead for Syngenta Seeds, Inc.

This position has the flexibility to be located in either Nampa, Idaho or Stanton, Minnesota.

In this Senior Breeding Leadership role you will be responsible to manage the planning and implementation of hybrid development activities of temperate and tropical sweet corn for breeding teams located throughout the world.  

Qualified candidates must possess:

• a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding or related scientific field and eight years comparable experience breeding sweet corn, or

• similar crops for commercial applications.

Knowledge and comparable experience working with molecular marker technology, seed physiology and produce quality is desired.
