centers worldwide and established a strong R&D program for crop
breeding research and seed business on cotton, sunflower, pearl
millet, hybrid rice, corn, mustard, sorghum, pulses, wheat and
vegetables at Hyderabad, India.
Applications are now invited for
Plant Breeders: cotton, sorghum, rice, corn, pearl millet and
vegetables.
Key responsibilities
-
Plan and
execute the breeding program of respective crop and
identification of marketable products.

Maintenance and multiplication of breeder seed.
-
Development of new inbred lines.
-
Evaluation, characterization, maintenance, storage and
cataloguing of germplasm.
-
Conducting trials, breeding nurseries, evaluations and
preparing reports.
-
Collection of new germplasm & Data management.
-
Application of new technologies in breeding program.
Desired qualifications
-
Ph.D. in
Plant Breeding & Genetics from reputed institute with 2-3
years of relevant research experience in respective crop in
reputed seed company or public institutions or M.sc.(Agr) in
plant breeding with 8 years of experience & proven record.

Team
player with good interpersonal skills. Passion for research
and strong knowledge base of crop breeding procedures is
mandatory.
