Plant Breeder
Working for
Enza Zaden means working
for a leading breeding company of innovative vegetable
varieties. Our head office is located in the heart of the seed
industry: Enkhuizen. Worldwide, Enza Zaden employs over 1000
staff members, divided over 25 locations. Our activities include
the development of varieties for local markets as well as the
sales and distribution of high-quality vegetable seeds. With the
expertise and dedication of our employees we continue

Due to ongoing expansion of our activities, we now seek for our
breeding station in Turkey a Plant Breeder, based in
Antalya, Turkey.
Job specifications
After an
intensive training period you will be responsible for the
development of competitive squash varieties for some market
segments. Activities include planning, organizing and
evaluating breeding and screening trials, managing data and
seed administration. You will work in an international
environment of breeders, specialists and sales people. This
position requires traveling.
Job requirements
We expect
candidates to have an advanced degree in plant breeding,
genetics or any related scientific field. Moreover, you
should be fluent in Turkish and English. Working experience
in plant breeding is a strong advantage. A practical
attitude, creativity, planning skills and a strong dose of
perseverance are attributes that the right candidate should
possess.
