Lettuce Product Manager

employees) is one of the leading companies on the vegetable
seeds sector dedicated to the professionals. Our Headquarter is
in France near Angers and through our subsidiaries and
activities in breeding, sales and production our presence is
worldwide and our positions international.
We seek for the
development of our activities a
Senior Lettuce Product Manager.
In the Commerce and Marketing Division, reporting to the
Marketing Manager, you will manage the product range and the
marketing/development of lettuce varieties and seeds for
Vilmorin.
On-the-ground, hands-on responsability for lettuce means you:

Manage the junior product manager and the
team budget.

Analyze world markets (target markets, large
accounts, Fresh-Cut) and predict their evolution in order to
guide research and breeding work.

Assume the role of technical expert in the
lettuce species (agronomy and seed)
-
Construct and manage the product ranges in
priority markets (performance, complementarity, development
and new product launch)

Present your ranges and markets in a concise,
effective way as the interface with Research.

Support the Sales teams (create promotional
tools in coordination with the Communcation department).
Profile
:
-
Agronomist
-
Minimum 5 years practical experience, ideally
related to the Fresh-Cut salad industry.

Sales experience and negotiation experience
with large accounts.

Knowledge of marketing fundamentals.
-
Fluent English and Spanish
This position, based in La Menitré (near Angers), France, is
international in scope and requires frequent travel (at least
50% of the time).
