At the Agricultural Research Station in Dinuba, Californai we have an immediate opening for an Associate Biologist I to support our Plant Pathologist in conducting field and greenhouse experiments with new test compounds for disease control in a wide spectrum of crops.

You will perform a variety of technical functions including th set-up of field and greenhouse trials, the application of the test compounds and the evaluation of the trials.

To qualify you should have a solid agricultural or horticultural knowledge with a BS degree in agriculture, horticulture or biology or a high school diploma with 1-2 years of practical experience in the area of agricultural and horticultural crop production. Basic knowledge in plant pathology and plant disease controlas well as in field and greenhouse trial techniques would be desirable.

Qualifications

• BS degree in agriculture, horticulture or biology or High school diploma with at least 1-2 years practical experience in agricultural or horticultural crop production. 

• Basic knowledge in plant pathology and plant disease control

• Basic knowledge in field and grenhouse trial techniques

• Basic computer skills
