Seminis has an opening for a Research Assistant to
produce seed for Solanaceous and Cucurbit crops.
Responsibilities:

Reviewing
seed inventories, ordering seed from germplasm repositories,
increasing seed under greenhouse and field conditions,
performing required seed treatments, filling seed orders and
distributing seed to Seminis locations worldwide.

Conducting standard pathology fungal disease screens for
Solanaceous and Cucurbit crops under lab, greenhouse and
field conditions.

Maintaining the fungal culture collection and diagnose plant
diseases.
