The Rasi Seeds, a leading Bt cotton, cereals and oil Seed
Company is expanding their vegetable seed business in India and
Asia. Vegetable Division of Rasi seeds will locate their main R
& D facilities at Bangalore, near Delhi and Kullu, Sales and
marketing in all potential areas of vegetable growing,
Operational centers in Bangalore and Gurgaon and Production
locations throughout India based on crop need and agro-climatic
zones. Vegetable division which is being managed by experience
seed professionals will provide unique opportunities to
experience professional from seed sector to enhance their
professional and financial growth.

Position: AGM, Quality Assurance
Location: Gurgaon, India
Purpose
The successful candidate
will be responsible for strategic planning and
implementation of quality assurance procedures and programs
.This position will be responsible for physical,
physiological, genetical quality of the seed. The candidate
will also be responsible for seed health.
Responsibilities
• Establishment of modern
seed quality labs in Gurgaon and Bangalore
• Develop strategies and plans for implementing modern seed
technological techniques to deliver high quality seed
• Ensure production quality thru systematic evaluation
processes
• Establish GOT facilities to evaluate genetic purity of the
hybrids
• Implement ICT systems and processes for managing quality
data.
• Develop motivated team in the quality department
• Work in close coordination with GM operations
• Organize quality training for QA and other departments.
Experience and
qualifications
• B.Sc/M.Sc in Agriculture
particularly in seed technology.
• More than 10 years experience in seed technology lab.
• Experience in establishing or working in a Quality Control
laboratory.
• Experience in interpreting regulations and implementing
quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP, and GLP) is
preferred.
• An in-depth understanding of the ISO 9001 certification
process.
• Knowledge of plant biotechnology, including DNA and
protein analysis techniques for quality assurance
• Knowledge of seed health techniques and their
implementation
• A broad understanding of the agri. business.
Skills required
• Proven track record of
excellent relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to
effectively interact with all functional departments.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems.
