Bejo Seeds Inc, a daughter company in the USA, is recruiting a Director of Sales and Marketing for their location in Oceano, California.

Job Function:

• Create sustainable and profitable growth of sales and market positions through calculated strategies and people management according to company mission and vision statements. 

• Imaginative insight in the development of strategies and practices.

Essential Functions:

• Manage a team of regional market managers which includes goal setting, personnel development and talent retention.

• Provide regional market managers with strategic and tactical support necessary to ensure their success.

• Develop, communicate and implement sales and marketing strategies.

• Develop strategies for pricing, gross margin, product promotion and distribution.

• Develop and implement short term and long term forecasts for sales, logistical and production planning.

• Work together with regional market managers and breeding to develop the right products for the market.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, inter-personal skills and organizational ability.

• Motivator and mentor with strong leadership qualities.

• More than 10 years proven business results in the field of sales, marketing and product management.

• Strong product based understanding combining analytical and field experience.

• Strong written and presentation skills.

• Capacity to communicate and work effectively with in a multi-national and cultural organization.

• Minimum B.S. in agriculture, agronomy, business or marketing.

• Microsoft Office.

• Willing to travel.
