Position: GM/DGM/AGM, Seed Production (5 no.) –
Job code: GM/DGM/AGMSP-01
Location: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamilnadu,
Maharashtra & Rajasthan.
Desired qualifications and experience:
• M.Sc
(Ag) or PhD in Seed Technology/Breeding/Agronomy
• Preferably with MBA in Agribusiness having strong
leadership with people management skills
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Seed industry
and good knowledge of agricultural production systems
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and
ability to travel extensively
• Need to be self motivated with excellent communication
skills.
• Possess a clear understanding of industry, technology
trends to achieve product excellence at the lowest overall
cost.
Skill set preferred:
•
Excellent communication, inter personal skills and team
building skills with ability to grasp new concepts and
utilize the same in a productive manner.
• Strong leadership qualities, exceptional problem solving
abilities and ability to lead the team from the front.
• Ability to draft reports and presentations using
appropriate computer software.
Job profile:
• Forming
strategies, planning and execution of overall seed
production activities to meet target with emphasis on the
quality of seed.
• Expertise in implementation of quality control measure and
analysis, quality assurance.
• Managing the seed production program through sustainable,
dependable, cost effective and quality conscious seed
production practices.
• Maintaining all statutory requirements in line with the
objectives of the Company
• Design, implement and evaluate models for production
processes and their respective controls.
• Identifying new or un-explored potential areas for seed
production and develop effective seed production systems in
those areas.
• To provide technical support to the staff and seed growers
for quality seed production practices.
• Identifying training and development needs of the
production staff.
• Being empathic, identifying seed production organizers and
cementing healthy relationship between growers and
organizers.

with qualification, experience and demonstrated competencies.
