POSITION LOCATED IN : Portes-lès-Valence (Drôme)
CORE ACTIONS :
Linked to
the International Sales Director, the export manager
develops with his/her commercial team, the sales turnover as
well as the margin and the share of market of the company in
the foreign countries, within the framework of the marketing
policy decided by the International Sales Management.
He manages a commercial team.
ACTIONS : In order to do
that, the Export Manager :
-
Consolidate and propose the
forecasts of sales on Export towards his/her Direction -
Deploy and fix the commercial objectives at the Area
Managers;
-
Pilot the budgets of the
Export (commercial, functioning…) validated by the Sales
Director : vouches for the evolution of the turnover,
margin, expenses and other indicators which he/she follows
and of which he/she reports to his/her hierarchy ;
-
Prepare the files of setting
in production for the Committees of Production in link with
the inventory controllers and the internal suppliers ;
-
Ensure the coordination of
prices on his/her field ;
-
Propose a strategy of
distribution and its deployment ;
-
Within the framework of the
policy described by the International Sales Management,
he/she is the decisional interface within the Research and
Marketing teams ;
-
Coordinate the reportings of
the area managers and promoters ;
-
Coordinate the demonstrations
(Convention of the Sales, trade shows …) ;
-
Carry out the visits of the
key accounts in linked with his/her Direction ;
-
Carry out the follow-up of the
lawsuits in complement of the action of his/her Area
Managers.
SKILLS AND PROFILE :
-
Engineer Agro Agri//Horti plus
a significant experience in an international and commercial
function, or in international promotion or development ;
-
Experience in management of a
commercial or a technical team is required;
-
Fluent in English + another
language, both written and spoken ;
-
Knowledge of the agri-business
sector and of the relation B to B in agriculture ;
-
Knowledge of MS Office Package
and ability of clear reporting ;
-
Capacity of organization and
synthesis ;
-
Relational qualities of
communication and conviction.
N.B. Frequent overseas trips will be required
