Ampac Seed announces two new tall fescues
Tangent, Oregon
April 28, 1998

Ampac Seed Company announces that two of their newest tall fescues, Ninja and Cortez, are notably finer bladed and denser than many other varieties.

Both Ninja and Cortez were statistically finer bladed than 64 other varieties in the latest NTEP 3-year trials. High plant densities help keep the fine-bladed plants stay narrow, even after a
number of years. In fact, Cortez had spring density counts 60% higher than varieties like Arid, Falcon, Apache II, and Trailblazer II.

Ninja, tested as ATF-006, is readily available.

Cortez, tested as FA-22, is available Fall of `98 in limited quantities.
