The Barenbrug group of companies is proud to announce an alliance between Pebble Beach Company and Barenbrug USA, headquartered in Tangent, Oregon. The agreement provides for all Pebble Beach Company golf course properties to use Barenbrug varieties. Pebble Beach Company's golf courses include Pebble Beach Golf Links®, Spyglass® Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay™, and Del Monte Golf Course™.

Barenbrug UK has also confirmed an agreement with St. Andrews Links Trust of Scotland to provide Barenbrug European varieties on the historic St. Andres Golf Links.

At the 1998 Golf Course Superintendents show, just completed in Anaheim, California, a congratulatory meeting was held between Forrest Arthur and Gilbert "Pete" Bibber of Pebble Beach Company, Eddie Adams of St. Andrews, matt Herb, Plant Breeder for Barenbrug USA, and Don Herb, President of Barenbrug USA.

The same grass varieties used by Pebble Beach Company and St. Andrews are available for lawns, parks, golf courses, and athletic fields worldwide.
