Pickseed West Inc. of Tangent, Oregon is pleased to announce it has acquired the seed assets of International Marketing Services (IMS).

IMS has been successfully operated by John Rutkai, a career Oregon seedsman.

John has successfully registered a number of American developed turfgrasses in the European Union. As well, he has established important production surfaces of these cultivars.

The IMS/ Pickseed agreement transfers control and future marketing opportunities for this germplasm, including DANCER Perennial ryegrass and TALISMAN turf type Tall fescue to Pickseed.

Pickseed currently has already inscribed a wide array of species and varieties in Europe. These two valuable additions give Pickseed a leading role of high quality North American germplasm for distribution to the European seed industry.
