Leila is a new extended-shelf-life hybrid that has delivered outstanding firmness and uniform color development for vine-ripe harvest.

Widely adapted to most tomato production areas in the Eastern U.S. and Mexico, its vigorous, tall, determinate plant has produced mostly large and extra-large, globe-shaped fruit suitable for both green and vine-ripe harvest.

In addition to its tolerance to Stemphylium, cracking, graywall, and blotchy ripening, Leila has shown resistance to Verticillium wilt race 1, Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2. Staking, and moderate to heavy pruning is recommended.
