Very attractive, medium late, round, smooth white skinned, white fleshed tubers with shallow eyes. Solids and fry color is good. Also suitable for the production of chips.

Gilroy is moderately resistant to early blight, moderately susceptible to late blight, moderately resistant to virus diseases.

Is grown from botanical potato seed, either by direct seeding or transplanting.
