A new facility on the Australian Office of the Gene Technology website now allows current GM field trial sites and sites subject to post harvest monitoring to be viewed via electronic maps.

Sites under consideration for Commercially Confidential Information (CCI) status are included, without making reference to points on the maps (ie the CCI sites are listed in a 'Box' related to the region that the sites are located in).

This information has been provided for visualisation purposes only. For more precise geographic locations, refer to the site Intentional Release Record. Using the maps together with the actual intentional release record visitors to the website can see detail on what activities are underway in a region of interest.
