Dave Siegers, vice president of operations for Siegers Seed Company, is delighted to announce that Karl Sauter has graciously accepted the position of Purchasing Manager. Siegers has also promoted Ryan Miller to the position of Purchasing Assistant. Together, Karl and Ryan will form a dynamic purchasing team that is focused on customer demand and supplier relationships.

Karl has been working in the Siegers purchasing department for the past 18 months and will now have oversight of all product sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and inventory control functions. Karl brings valuable product knowledge to the department with a Bachelors Degree in Vegetable Crop Production from Michigan State University, a Masters Degree in Plant Breeding from the University of Minnesota, and a well-rounded knowledge of customer service, marketing and purchasing from Gurney s Seed and Nursery Company. He has worked tirelessly to become thoroughly aware of the many dynamics in the seed industry for the commercial vegetable grower.

Ryan Miller has been a reliable asset to Siegers in both their shipping/receiving and customer service departments for the past three years. He has worked hard to gain experience and knowledge of product, packaging, and logistics. He has shown great skill in multi-tasking and is highly detail-oriented.

The staff and salesmen of Siegers Seed Company are thrilled with the new purchasing team, and wish to join the vegetable seed industry in welcoming both of them.
