Leading global seed coating and enhancement company Germain’s Technology Group and India’s foremost agrochemical manufacturing company P I Industries Ltd. have announced a joint agreement to develop opportunities to manufacture and distribute polymer for seed coating application in India. The agreement was signed at the recent ISF Conference in Bangalore.

Paul Ayres, Chief Executive Officer for Germain’s Technology Group comments, "The Indian seed market offers tremendous potential and GTG, with its experience and technology in seed coatings, is delighted to have formed this relationship with P I Industries, who have extensive market knowledge and distribution capabilities."

Mr Salil Singhal, Managing Director for P I Industries said, "The Rs. 45 billion (USD 1.1 billion), Indian seed market is fast changing with the proprietary hybrids and improved varieties rapidly replacing the traditional varieties, demanding modern seed treatment products, functional agents like seed coatings and other functional enhancement technologies.
