The Western Australia
Department of Agriculture has produced its recently released
eVariety Profiler to CD, after many growers experienced
difficulties downloading large files off the Internet.
Department regional manager Peter King said 1000 CDs
have been made of the eVariety Profilers that allows growers to
easily compare 55 wheat varieties.
The Profiler is available from the Department website
or free of charge in CD format from District Offices.
"The Profiler can be used by growers and consultants
to assist in making decisions prior to harvest regarding which
varieties to retain or acquire for the next season," Mr King
said.
"The e-Variety Profiler is only available for wheat,
however information on other crops varieties will soon be
available in the electronic format."
This project is partly funded by the
Grains Research and Development
Corporation. |
