US BioTec, Inc., an
emerging player in the rapidly growing bio-chemical sector of
the multi-billion dollar agri-business industry, today announced
its plans for the launch two more products in its initial line
of all natural agricultural biotechnology products for 2005.
Among the first line of products to be sold commercially by the
company will be Relief, a product that helps plants strengthen
their immune systems so as to better withstand heat; and
Breakdown, which will help breakdown organic matter to greatly
improve overall soil quality.
US BioTec's newest
products, which are scheduled for mass release in Spring, 2005
are expected to have very wide market appeal. The company's
Relief product, which helps to build up the immune systems in
all types of crops so that they can withstand extended periods
of heat, and Breakdown, an all-purpose soil biostimulant that
aids in the decomposition of plant matter, building humus level,
releasing nutrients from decomposing plants, increasing the
soil's water and nutrient holding capacity and reducing habitat
for harmful pathogens.
"Relief and
Breakdown can help farmers grow stronger, more abundant crops
that produce healthier fruits and vegetables, no matter what
kind of crop they are growing. Heat stress and soil deficiency
are two of the biggest and most costly problems facing farmers
today. When farmers use Relief on their crops, the product will
actually help the plant fight protein degradation and fight
premature aging, while boosting the plant's natural ability to
manufacture necessary carbohydrates, enzymes, amino acids, etc
in the leaves. It will also improve the translocation of
metabolites and help the plants retain their fruit better in
mid-to-late season, thus producing more mature crops," adds
Joyner.
"I believe that
Breakdown may be one of our best selling products because nearly
every farm in America suffers from poor soil conditions due to
overuse and overexposure to decades of toxic agri-chemicals. The
application of US BioTec's Breakdown to the soil will
dramatically increase the soil's ability to decompose of plant
matter and release the valuable nutrients from those decomposing
plants back into the soil. It also helps the soil breakdown the
residual pesticides and synthetic fertilizers left from past
applications and increases the soil's ability to hold water and
nutrients. This means that the soil is healthier and the plants
that grow in it will be healthier as well, containing higher
concentrations of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals,
similar to the food our forefathers ate a hundred years ago.
Another great byproduct of using breakdown is that the resulting
healthier plants should require significantly less fertilizer
and pesticides than in previous years," declares Joyner.
All of the
products produced by US BioTec are all natural, bio-degradable
alternatives to the toxic and sometimes carcinogenic
agrichemicals that have been widely used by farmers for decades.
The agrichemical market, which is measured in the tens of
billions of dollars annually, is controlled primarily by a
handful of large multi-national corporations such as DuPont
(NYSE:DD), Bayer (NYSE:BAY), BASF (NYSE:BF), Dow Chemical
(NYSE:DOW) and Monsanto (NYSE:MON).
US BioTec consists
of three separate biochemical divisions: Agriculture, Commercial
and Retail. All of the products being launched in 2005 will come
from the company's Agriculture division. In 2006, US BioTec
plans to launch the first lawn & garden products from its Retail
division. The next year, the company will begin offering
products from its Commercial division that will be targeted for
the commercial landscaping, turf farm and golf course markets.
US BioTec was
established to profitably develop, manufacture, market and
distribute bio-degradable, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic
products to agriculture, the commercial turf industry, forestry,
golf courses, professional landscapers, nurseries and mass
market retail lawn and garden markets. USBO is striving to be
the U.S. market leader in the expanding bio-chemical sector of
the annual multi-billion dollar agricultural chemical
marketplace. The Company's products are designed to rehabilitate
soils, repel insects and increase crop (plant) yields through
environmentally friendly alternatives to toxic man-made
pesticides and caustic synthetic fertilizers. |
