INCOTEC opens facility in India

INCOTEC announces that on January 29th, 2004, it has opened its facility in Ahmedabad, India, to start producing products for the Indian seed industry.

The facility will be active in producing film coat liquids to be used on many different agricultural crops like cotton, pearl, millet, mustard, corn and several vegetable crops. In the meantime the company expects in the middle of this year from its facilities in Ahmedabad to start offering custom film coating and pelleting to Indian seed companies.

The company has appointed Mr. Manish Patel as General Manager who will be leading the new company of the world-wide INCOTEC organization.

The C.E.O. of INCOTEC Holding, Mr. Jan Willem Breukink indicates: “We are very happy with this new facility, as it will give us the possibility to serve the Indian seed industry much better. We see India as a very important market for us with a great potential for the future. We are very committed to do further investments in this country not only by putting up facilities but also by developing tailor made products suitable for the Indian Agriculture.”
