INCOTEC introduces XSpecial, Vision and Vision Special, priming and film coating technologies for cucumber and melon

Effective immediately, INCOTEC, Integrated Coating and Seed Technology, Inc., in Salinas, California will be offering six new products, XSpecial, Vision, and Vision Special Cucumber as well as XSpecial, Vision and Vision Special Melon. 

For the past several years, INCOTEC’s Integrated Product Research department has been developing primings for cucumbers and melons that will allow for increased speed of emergence and overall better uniformity under colder growing conditions.  A number of trials have been conducted and results have been outstanding. 

Suzanne Yamanishi, Manager of INCOTEC’s Integrated Product Research in Salinas acknowledges that “these primings have now been moved to official product status and are now available for the industry”. Fern Larose, Sales Manager for INCOTEC in Salinas, California states that “cucumbers and melons producers will have the option of XSpecial (only priming with no film coating) or Vision Special (priming plus film coating).  In addition, INCOTEC will also offer Vision (film coating with no priming) on both cucumbers and melons”.
