Bill Gordon joins Stauffer Seeds as a territory sales manager in Illinois
Franklin, Illinois
July 26, 2005

Bill Gordon joined Stauffer Seeds as a territory sales manager serving growers in a 10 county area in Illinois. “I’ve been in the seed business for quite a while,” Gordon commented. “And these are really good people to work with. They are fair and honest, and willing to put out a good product.”

Mike Smidt, Director of Sales and Marketing for Stauffer Seeds, appreciates Gordon’s expertise and experience. “We are proud to have Bill on the Stauffer team,” Smidt remarked. “He understands the industry and the territory he serves in Illinois. With his experience, he is able to help growers select the right Stauffer Seeds hybrids and varieties for their farm. The result is optimum performance and personal service.”

As Gordon serves growers in his territory that stretches from Bloomington, Illinois, to just north of St. Louis, Missouri, he always offers integrity, quality, and service to meet and exceed their needs. Gordon is a part owner of a processing plant used by Stauffer Seeds and is consequently invested in providing the best quality product possible.

“Agriculture is changing so fast. It’s my job to keep on top of all the new technology available and share that with my customers,” Gordon stated. “Agriculture has been changing rapidly the last few years, and it will be more rapid in the years to come. Stauffer works very closely with the experts in technology and they have excellent people on staff to evaluate that technology.”

Gordon has been involved in the seed business for over 23 years. He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Franklin, Illinois. They are the parents of three grown children and enjoy their five grandchildren as well.
