The farming association
Naturland has recently
introduced a new service for tracing its organic products on the
Internet. This enables simple tracing of the complete product
chain back to the farmer. A number on the product rapidly leads
the interested buyer with Internet knowledge to the virtual tour
to the organic farm.
The digital recording of the
complete certification procedure during production, processing
with e-Cert and a cross-stage traceability system ensure access
to all the necessary data in the shortest possible time and
guarantee high Naturland qualities and reliability through to
the end consumer, according to a press release. The action is a
joint project of Naturland e.V., Marktgesellschaft der Naturland
Betriebe and the Research
Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL).
