Excalibre, produced by the makers of America’s Best Inoculant
(ABI), recently accomplished another first. The most
technologically advanced soybean inoculant now has a 90-day
post-application planting window. Excalibre was introduced to
the industry in January 2006 with a 60-day, post-application
planting window.
“The product continues to be tested,” said Dan Custis, president
of Advanced Biological Marketing. “We believe after the next
round of tests we’ll have an even higher post-application
planting window.”
Excalibre, a new patented technology, is the first in
agriculture and is on the cutting edge of genetics. It
is uniquely different from all other inoculants because it
offers a 2-year shelf life and extended post-application
planting window.
Excalibre is a soybean seed inoculant that has been developed
and proven effective by the best scientists in Bradyrhizobia
genetics. It offers a safe, easy-to-use way to significantly
increase crop yields by up to 4.4 bushels an acre. Excalibre
contains a unique proprietary blend of three highly effective
strains of bacteria that work effectively in variable soil and
planting conditions.
Because of Excalibre’s formulation, seed companies can inoculate
soybean seeds 90 days in advance and have them available for
when their customers need the product. The shelf life also gives
farmers extra time to plant. It is believed that after
additional testing on Excalibre is completed it will offer up to
a 180-day planting window.
“America’s Best Inoculant has been proven to increase soybean
yield up to 14 bu/acre,” said Dan Custis, president of Advanced
Biological Marketing, manufactures of Excalibre and America’s
Best Inoculant. “Excalibre is simply an encapsulated form of
America’s Best Inoculant and continues to provide farmers
results.”
