Chia Tai Co Ltd, the Charoen Pokphand Group's seed-production business, is preparing to open its new production plant in Samut Sakhon.The 120-million-baht plant, with capacity to produce 20 tonnes of seeds per day, was equipped with state-of-the art technology for processes such as protein electrophoresis to ensure seed quality and purity, said Manas Chiaravanond, executive vice-president of Chia Tai.
