Becker Underwood announces new soybean inoculant website
Ames, Iowa
November 30, 2006

Soybean yield results from 30 field trials across the U.S.

Becker Underwood announces a new web site, www.WeProveIt.com, where soybean growers can view independent field trial data from throughout the United States on soybeans treated with inoculants.

"All the results published on WeProveIt.com are from university and other independent researchers," says Bill Romp, Becker Underwood business unit manager. "Growers can see for themselves what works best in their area on their crops."

The web site includes a summary of 30 soybean inoculant field trials, including 21 university trials and nine contract research plots in nine states, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The web site allows growers to search for soybean inoculant yield results by state. The data can be downloaded into Microsoft Excel worksheets. Additional yield results will be posted to the web site as they become available.

"The results on WeProveIt.com add to the extensive research data we have collected on VAULT® BioStacked® inoculant. Since its introduction two years ago, soybeans treated with VAULT gained 2 to 10 more bushels per acre," Romp says.

Founded in 1982 in Ames, Iowa, Becker Underwood is an international developer of products for the mulch, seed, agriculture, turf, and greenhouse markets with production facilities in Ames; Saskatoon, Canada; and Littlehampton, England. The company manufactures and markets a variety of specialty colorants and bio-agronomic products for turf management, agriculture, seed treatment, wood recycling, aquaculture, vegetation management, forestry and structural pest control industries.
