Harris
Moran is pleased to announce the addition of Robert
Korstanje as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Korstanje, a native of Holland who’s lived in the US since the
70s, has more than 25 years in the global seed industry. At
Harris Moran he will be responsible for implementing sales and
marketing strategies in seed markets worldwide.
“Robert’s intimate knowledge of the global seed business coupled
with his recent endeavors in the food industry blends well with
where the industry is headed,” said Maurice Smith, president and
COO of Harris Moran, headquartered in Modesto, CA.
Prior to
coming to HM, Korstanje worked at Kellogg and at Michigan State
University.
At the
cereal giant, he was Senior Director of Global Business
Innovation. At Michigan State University, he was a conduit
between producers of fruits and vegetables in developing
countries and the global market.
Korstanje spent the majority of his seed career at Asgrow in
various positions in sales, marketing and general management,
covering the worldwide aspects of the business.
