The agreement for long-term
cooperation between the Institute of Plant Physiology and
Ecology under the
Chinese
Academy of Sciences (CAS)
Shanghai Institutes
for Biological Sciences (SIBS) and
Keygene, a Wageningen-based
life science company in the Netherlands was signed by Vice
President of SIBS Gan Rongxing and Keygene President Arjen J.
van Tunen on Oct. 10 in Shanghai. Also present at the ceremony
were Shanghai Vice Mayor Yan Junqi and the Dutch Minister for
Foreign Trade Karien van Genni.
Keygene is the largest service provider in the genetic analysis
of plants, animals and micro-organisms. The collaboration
between the two sides is expected to promote the collaboration
of the two sides in the development of agricultural
biotechnology. |
