Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
October 27, 2006

Philom Bios Inc. is pleased to announce it has received regulatory approval in Canada to introduce the next generation of TagTeam® inoculants for pea and lentil for the 2007 season. The result of over 6 years of research and development,

Next Generation TagTeam inoculants combines a new patent-pending, superior performing rhizobia strain with significant formulation advancements within its MultiAction™ platform.

Based on multiple year field trials on responsive sites, Next Generation TagTeam delivered an average of $11.24 more profit per acre, representing a 12% yield gain as compared to competitor’s single-action (nitrogen only) inoculants.

“Simply put, Next Generation TagTeam inoculants deliver the best yield and the best value to pulse growers.” says Calvin Sonntag, President/CEO of Philom Bios. “We have invested heavily in innovation to serve the needs of our customers and Next Generation TagTeam is a great indication that these efforts provide real benefit to our
farmer customers.”

Pea and lentil growers will be able to identify Next Generation TagTeam inoculants by its new package design.
