Dr. Mark Aseltine joins Mycogen Seeds as a consulting nutritionist in California

Mycogen Seeds is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Aseltine, Ph.D., is now serving as a consulting nutritionist in California.

In his new role, Aseltine will support the Mycogen® brand Silage-Specific™ BMR corn silage lineup. He will provide technical help to customers and assist with nutrition, management and sales efforts.

Aseltine has served dairies and feed companies in both California and Nevada since 1985 as an independent nutrition and management consultant. A native of California, he received his bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis, Obispo, Calif., in 1974 and received his master’s and doctorate degrees from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Ore.

Prior to opening his own business, Aseltine worked for Farmland Industries in Kansas City, Missouri, and Loomix, Inc. in Arroy Grande, California.

Additionally, Aseltine has served as chairman of the California Animal Conference and has authored over 70 popular press articles on dairy nutrition. He also has traveled internationally to participate in dairy nutrition seminars and consultations.
