Asgrow® and DEKALB® have launched
a new Web site designed to provide farmers with more online
tools to help them maximize yield and profit potential on their
farms.
"We spoke with farmers across the country and created an online
tool that was custom-built to meet their needs," says Mieka
Rustand, Asgrow and DEKALB brand communications manager. "The
new Web site delivers information more easily and more quickly
to better meet the needs of farmers."
Highlights of the new Web site include an interactive map on the
home page, which utilizes the latest online mapping technology
to allow farmers to search by crop and zip code to find
individual plot reports and competitive yield comparisons. Plots
with GPS data are identified on the map by location.
An enhanced online seed resource guide has been simplified so
farmers can read product attributes at a glance, and a
"Find-A-Seed" search function enables farmers to search for seed
both by product and brand.
A rich media section contains streaming videos highlighting new
products and farmer testimonials. Improved navigation makes
finding all Asgrow and DEKALB information and products faster
and simpler, and a redesign gives the site a consistent look and
feel.
