.

Gedera, Israel
February 8, 2007

The Taste Tomato Program by Zeraim Gedera, one of the world’s leading seed companies, is a special development of new tomato segment that is characterized by a unique sweet taste.

These segments, developed by Dr. Moshe Bar (VP R&D) and a dedicated team of in-house breeders, together with Dr. Arthur Schaffer, Head of the Department of Vegetable Research at the Volcani Center, Israel’s world famous agricultural research institute, adapt well to environmental factors, produce firm tomatoes with a good sugar/acid ratio, have high TSS, long shelf-life and, above all, incomparable taste.

This new and remarkable program began as an answer to tremendous market demand for the “good old days taste” of tomatoes and represents the company’s vision of contribution to the health, nutrition quality and joy of the consumers.
