Mycogen Seeds announces that Terry Gardner and Dave
Schumacher have accepted the role of National Channel Manager
and Senior Marketing Specialist, Grain Corn, respectively.
In his new position, Gardner will be responsible for the
implementation and coordination of Mycogen Seeds growth strategy
with national accounts. A key focus of his will be to align
business strategies within the ag chemical, seeds and traits and
germplasm businesses to capitalize on new and growing
opportunities for Dow
AgroSciences.
“Gardner has been an asset to Dow AgroSciences,” says Doug Vail,
Sales and Marketing Leader. “His experience within the company
and the industry will no doubt be a major asset to the Mycogen
Seeds team.”
Prior to this new role, Gardner was the Senior Marketing
Specialist for Mycogen Seeds grain corn business. Throughout his
career, he has held several prominent marketing and management
roles within Dow AgroSciences.
Schumacher is assuming all responsibilities previously held by
Gardner as the Senior Marketing Specialist, Grain Corn.
Schumacher also has held various roles within Dow AgroSciences
and, most recently, was responsible for managing sales in the
Northeast region as the District Sales Manager. Schumacher has a
bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale
and completed his graduate studies at Butler University in
Indianapolis, Ind.
“Schumacher brings a wealth of knowledge in grain corn to this
role of Senior Marketing Specialist,” Vail says. “He will be a
great fit and a valuable resource for the team.”
