Apex Seeds appoints Ray Osburn as Asian Sales Manager based in Shanghai, China

Apex Seeds Pty. Ltd. is a new international vegetable seed company, established in 2005  to develop and distribute an exclusive range of competitive hybrid varieties.

The team has grown to 7 staff with the recent appointment of RAY OSBURN as the Asian Sales Manager. Ray has had an extensive career in horticulture including 22 years with Asgrow Seed Co / Seminis in vegetable seed sales administration, customer support and management. He moved from his homeland, America, to Shanghai, China where he was the Seminis director of business development China.

For Apex Seeds, based in Shanghai, he will be working with both their distributor and supplier network in Asia (except India and Pakistan) in sourcing improved varieties and generating vegetable seed sales.

Based in Australia Apex seeds has TREVOR PEZET – Product Development Manager, who together with, JULIAN WINCH – Product Manager, are responsible for the development of a competitive product range for the international markets.

MORGAN UPTON – Australasian Sales Manager, works with distributors and growers through vegetable variety trials to generate sales in Australasia.

WARRICK CHUDLEIGH – Managing Director, has been involved in the vegetable seed industry for 30 years. Starting as a commercial vegetable grower, then as a Sales, Product, and General Manager in Yates Vegetable Seeds in Australasia.

In 2005 he started as the first employee of Apex Seeds.

Apex Sseeds has just released a product development catalogue with detailed descriptions and color photos of their varieties to be selected by its distributors to go into pre–commercial trials. This will soon be accessible on the company's website  at www.apexseeds.com.
