BASF is pleased to
announce the appointment of Nevin McDougall as Vice President,
U.S. Business Operations, Crop Protection Division. Most
recently, McDougall led BASF operations in the Asia Pacific
region as Group Vice President for Agricultural Products.
“Nevin brings tremendous knowledge, experience and skill to our
U.S. operations,” said Markus Heldt, BASF Group Vice President,
North America. “He has a strong history and background with BASF
and we’re excited to welcome him to the U.S. business team.”
McDougall has spent the last 15 years with BASF and its legacy
company (American Cyanamid) working in Canada and Singapore,
where he has served in a variety of sales, marketing and
management roles.
McDougall is a native of Canada and holds a bachelor’s degree in
science and a master’s degree in agricultural economics and
business from the University of Guelph.
With sales of €3,137 million in 2007, BASF’s Crop Protection
division is a leader in crop protection and a strong partner to
the farming industry providing well-established and innovative
fungicides, insecticides and herbicides. Farmers use these
products and services to improve crop yields and crop quality.
Other uses include public health, structural/urban pest control,
turf and ornamental plants, vegetation management, and forestry.
