UKRAINE
Ukraine is not a major
importer of grains and oilseeds but it does export, on
average, about one-quarter of its annual production of major
field crops. Over the longer term, it has the potential to
become a major exporter in the grains and oilseeds markets.
This issue of the Bi-weekly Bulletin examines the situation
and outlook for Ukraine’s grains and oilseeds sector and
explores implications for Canada’s agriculture and agri-food
sector.
