Growers can get up to $300 back
with “Try 10 on Us” program
Growers who use Poncho® 500
seed-applied insecticide may be eligible to earn up to $300 from
Bayer CropScience
in 2009 with the Try 10 on Us program.
Poncho 500 offers corn growers improved control of wireworm,
black cutworm and other insects.
“With the higher cost of seed, it pays more than ever to invest
in a seed treatment,” says Kerry Grossweiler, Bayer CropScience
product manager for seed treatments. “Growers who use Poncho 500
can see an average 10 bushel-per-acre increase in their yields
over the fungicide control.”
The Try 10 on Us program makes available to growers who purchase
100 or more bags of Poncho 500-treated seeds a $300 rebate. A
$150 rebate is available to those growers who purchase 50 to 99
bags of Poncho 500-treated seed. Seed invoices must be dated
between August 1, 2008, and May 31, 2009.
For more information on this rebate program or to request a
claim form, growers are encouraged to contact their seed dealers
or call the Bayer CropScience Customer Interaction Center at
1-877-976-8286.
