At the I3th Annual General Meeting
held on 26th September 2008, the Seedsmen Association,
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India elected its new executive for
the biennium ( 2008-9 & 10 ) with Mr. G.V. Bhaskar Rao as its
Chairman for a second term.
Mr. Bhaskar Rao, a technocrat in
Agriculture, and a leading Seed Industrialist, is currently the
Managing Director of Kaveri Seed Company Ltd..
He is also the
Convener for the National Organizing Committee due to organize
the APSA Conference at Hyderabad, India in November 2008
The Seedsmen Association of Andhra Pradesh, India formerly
functioning in the name of Seed Grower and Merchant and
Nurserymen Association of Andhra Pradesh is now a registered
Society with a membership of more than 500, comprising of seed
firms, dealers and individual farmers. The Association strives
to promote the interest of seeds men in the state of Andhra
Pradesh, in India in matters related to seed production,
processing and certification. |
