The key feature of the new
WINTERSTEIGER plot seeder range is the development of a new
control unit which will be supplied on all new machines. The new
plot seeder control unit is available in two versions: Whilst
the WINTERSTEIGER PDS-Economic may be seen as an interesting
entry-level solution, the WINTERSTEIGER global seed control
(GSC) represents the ideal solution for the highest requirements
for precision and control.
The new plot seeder control unit displays the following
features:
• Standardised operation of
all plot seeders (plot drill, single row planter, precision
spaced planter)
• Clearly laid out operating display, high-contrast, easy to
operate by means of function keys
• Identical operating logic to combines (delta and split)
and plot seeders
• Open interface for data exchange with external systems
• Plot documentation
• Preparation for GPS connection
• Simple and user-friendly calibration of the track
measuring system
• Monitoring of all important functions and display of error
source
• Simple planting mode using various plot parameters
