S&G issues the 11th edition of S&G Peppers Today, the newsletter for the world of peppers

The multinational company Syngenta has issued the 11th edition of S&G Peppers Today  through S&G, its horticultural seed brand for vegetables in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. S&G Peppers Today is a communication tool specifically centred on the world of peppers, and it has been developed for all S&G clients in the business chain, with information on production, processing and trading.

The 11th edition of S&G Peppers Today focuses on:

  • Syngenta strategies for peppers in EAME and APAC: Syngenta Seeds Peppers Today interviews Mr. Sempf & Mr. Bursztynski, the former and the current product business manager for peppers in EAME at Syngenta

  • Peppers from Belgium: Mr. Jan Engelen, Sales Manager of Veiling Hoogstraten, talks about the current Belgian pepper campaign and the company’s sales system, the clock auction, which is the only one of its kind worldwide. 

  • Almería pepper scenario: the agricultural sector in Almería continues to produce positive results, despite the global crisis. Almería accounts for 58% of all horticultural production in the region of Andalusia in southern Spain.

  • Pepper consumption in Spain: did you know that Spaniards consumed an average of 4.2 kg of peppers per capita in 2006/2007 campaign?
