to announce the addition of Mike Langan as their new Sales
Manager. Langan brings extensive sales experience along with
customer relationship management skills. His position is
effective September 2, 2008.
Langan has 19 years of expertise in seed treatments,
insecticides, and fungicides technology as well as hybrid
characteristics. He has trained sales staff on positioning and
placement of product lineups. An acknowledged leader in the ag
profession, Langan is known for his ability to direct peers and
exceed sales expectations.
Langan fits perfectly into the Burrus operation with his
customer-driven approach and proven emphasis on relationships
based on honesty.
As Langan steps into his new role with Burrus, he will oversee
the Burrus sales staff as well as the newly acquired Hoblit
sales staff. His vast sales experience will assist Burrus
Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) as well as dealers to move
forward in spite of the challenges facing growers today.
Mike Langan resides in Lakewood, IL with his wife, Nora and
three children. He will be based in eastern Illinois but plans
to travel extensively in Illinois and Missouri with Burrus RSMs
and Hoblit District Sales Managers.
