.

Victor, New York
July 24, 2008

BioWorks Inc. is pleased to announce that the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) has reviewed the company’s EPA registered fungicide CEASE Microbial Fungicide, based on Bacillus subtilis strain QST 713, and
approved the listing of CEASE for use in organic production.

CEASE, labeled as both a foliar spray and soil drench on nursery and greenhouse ornamentals, trees, shrubs, flowering plants, and covered vegetable crops, is a broad spectrum biofungicide targeting common fungal and bacterial diseases such as Botrytis, Pseudomonas, Erwinia, powdery mildew, leaf spot and speck, anthracnose, and rust.

CEASE has a four-hour restricted entry interval and a zero-day pre-harvest interval providing growers minimal interruption following sprays. Bacillus subtilis, QST 713 strain was formerly sold under the RHAPSODY brand in the U.S. ornamental market.

BioWorks, Inc., a privately held company, provides environmentally responsible, safe and cost-effective solutions to the horticulture industry.
