Exhibit 518 offers an
interactive introduction to the future of crop protection
Bayer CropScience
demonstrates its commitment to the future of agribusiness with
plans to introduce several innovative new products in 2009 —
these include new chemistries, new modes of action and even a
new nonselective herbicide trait for soybeans.
Corn, soybean, cereals and sorghum growers can learn about Bayer
CropScience innovation at exhibit 518 during the 2009 Commodity
Classic, February 26 to 28, in Grapevine, Texas.
The wide range of products Bayer CropScience is introducing
include: Balance® Flexx herbicide and Corvus™ herbicide for
corn, LibertyLink® soybeans, and Ignite® herbicide for all
LibertyLink crops, plus Prosaro® fungicide and Wolverine™
herbicide for small grains. Wolverine herbicide currently is
undergoing review by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
and is not yet available for use.
With a focus on providing agronomic solutions, Bayer CropScience
anticipates introducing 10 new crop protection active
ingredients between 2008 and 2012.
“Through continued innovation, our goal is to help provide corn,
soybean and cereal growers with the tools essential to their
sustained success,” says Tim Zurliene, Bayer CropScience
marketing director for herbicides and herbicide-tolerant traits.
Along with an interactive exhibit, Bayer CropScience is
sponsoring three What-Is-New (WIN) Sessions during the Commodity
Classic to provide more in-depth product and agronomic
information to grower attendees:
