Syngenta announced today that the Board of Directors will
propose to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on April
21, 2009, to name Stefan Borgas as a new member of the Syngenta
Board.
Stefan Borgas (45) is Chief Executive Officer of Lonza, one of
the world's leading suppliers to the pharmaceutical, healthcare
and life science industries, headquartered in Basel. Prior to
joining Lonza in 2004 he worked in various senior international
functions for BASF. Stefan Borgas holds a degree in business
administration from the University of Saarbruecken, Germany, and
an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

schlägt Aktionären Stefan Borgas zur Wahl
in den Verwaltungsrat vor
Syngenta hat heute bekannt
gegeben, dass der Verwaltungsrat der Generalversammlung am 21.
April 2009 vorschlagen wird, Stefan Borgas als neues Mitglied in
den Verwaltungsrat zu wählen.
Stefan Borgas (45) ist Chief Executive Officer von Lonza, einem
weltweit führenden Zulieferer für die Pharma-, Gesundheits- und
Life Science Industrie mit Sitz in Basel. Vor seinem Eintritt
bei Lonza im Jahr 2004 hatte er verschiedene leitende
internationale Funktionen bei der BASF inne. Stefan Borgas hat
einen Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre der Universität
Saarbrücken und einen lic. oec. HSG Abschluss (MBA) der
Universität St. Gallen.

Syngenta a annoncé aujourd’hui que
le Conseil d’Administration proposera aux actionnaires - à
l’occasion de l’assemblée générale ordinaire qui se tiendra le
21 avril prochain - d’élire Stefan Borgas comme nouveau membre
du Conseil d’Administration de Syngenta.
Stefan Borgas (45 ans) est Directeur Général de Lonza, l’un des
principaux fournisseurs mondiaux des industries pharmaceutiques,
de la santé et des sciences de la vie, dont le siège se trouve à
Bâle. Avant d’entrer chez Lonza en 2004, il a occupé différentes
fonctions de cadres à l’échelle internationale pour le compte de
BASF. Stefan Borgas est titulaire d’un diplôme d’administration
commerciale de l’Université de Sarrebruck, Allemagne, et d’un
MBA de l’Université de St. Gall, Suisse. |
