Launcher PRO™, from Precision Laboratories, outperformed the
competition in taproot nodulation and yield in a
2008 research program at the Delta Research and Extension Center
in Stoneville, Mississippi. A recent article in Corn & Soybean
Digest expands on the research and findings.
"This data is additional verification proving that Launcher PRO
delivers performance measured in yield," says Terry Culp, vice
president for Precision's Seed Enhancement and Nutrient business
unit. "In a time when growers are looking to get higher value
with reduced risk for their input costs, Launcher PRO delivers
results with more nitrogen fixation capability from better
nodule development and increased yield."
In the trial, Launcher PRO had a yield of 75 bushels/acre
compared to the 68, 67 and 64 bushels/acre from the competition.
The competition developed an average of 11 nodules on treated
plants, while Launcher PRO plants averaged 13 nodules.
Launcher PRO is a complete soybean seed enhancement system,
conveniently packaged in one case to treat 200-50 lb units of
soybeans. The system contains Launcher™, Liquid Soybean
Inoculant, PBX™, Advanced Bacteria Protector and ProSurge™,
Catalytic Seed Treatment.
