kochia, narrow-leaved hawk’s beard and more
Durum wheat growers now have access to the same great weed
control that spring wheat and barley growers have come to expect
from DuPont™ Triton® K
herbicide. Now registered for use on durum wheat, Triton® K
controls some of the toughest broadleaf weeds including Group
2-resistant kochia, narrow-leaved hawk’s beard, cow cockle, wild
buckwheat, flixweed and Russian thistle.
“Triton® K provides broad-spectrum control with particularly
good efficacy on some of the toughest broadleaf weeds,” says Jon
Gough, DuPont cereals product manager. “Triton® K is the only
herbicide that controls all of the top ten weeds targeted by
growers in the brown soil zone. Now producers can use it in
durum wheat too.”
There are three active ingredients in Triton® K from two
different groups (Groups 2 and 4). With two different modes of
action, Triton® K is also a great resistance management tool.
Triton® K is powered by Solumax® soluble granules, which
increases the bioavailability of the active ingredient to the
plant for fast, effective weed control. In addition, because the
herbicide dissolves completely into solution, it offers faster,
easier, more consistent tank cleanout and less risk to
subsequently sprayed crops like peas or canola.
