Precision Laboratories,
Inc. announces it has entered into a license agreement with
Aglukon Spezialduenger of
Düsseldorf, Germany, a leader in the specialty fertilizer
market. Under the terms of the agreement, Precision Laboratories
has acquired rights to certain processes, formulations and
products from Aglukon.
The alliance will result in Aglukon’s extensive and unique
technology and know-how to be introduced to the United States
foliar fertilizer market. Precision will be establishing a
manufacturing facility for the technology that will come
on-stream in 2009. The agreement also provides Precision with
the complete use of Aglukon’s extensive data and research for
the benefit of American growers and turfgrass professionals.

Terry Culp, vice president of Precision’s newly expanded Seed
Enhancement and Nutrients Business Unit, will lead and manage
the company’s initiatives in the agricultural, turfgrass and
ornamental horticulture markets. “This is the perfect complement
to ensure future growth. Precision will capably position the
knowledge and leadership that Aglukon has earned worldwide in
the U.S. specialty foliar fertilizer market,” says Culp.
