GTG Research Department moves into its new facility
King's Lynn, Norfolk, UK
28 July 2000

GTG's Research and Development Department has now moved as planned into its new purpose-built laboratory and office facility in King's Lynn, Norfolk.

The new R&D site doubles the area of its previous home at GTG's headquarters in Hansa Road, from which it is located less than one mile (1.6 km) away. The building is specifically designed to accommodate the current and future research and development needs of the growing activities of the Group. Those include the areas of innovative seed treatments and seed technologies, including pelleting,  encrusting, film coating, priming and upgrading of seed, as well as the precision application of chemical and biological seed treatments. The facility will also cater for the specific research and development needs of our 'Speciality Products' destined to industrial and consumer use.

GTG's R&D department offers a Group-wide technical research support service to its member companies Germain's, Seed Systems, IST and ETS. It also plays a crucial role in the development, transfer and know-how of product and technologies to these entities.

Research staff continue to be reached in the normal way via existing telephone numbers, e-mail and postal address, which remain unchanged. However, the facility can now be reached by facsimile directly at its new number: +44 (0) 1553 77 92 98.
