ExSeed Genetics has named William J. Janowicz as Chief Financial Officer.

Janowicz joins ExSeed Genetics from Hoechst Marion Roussel Inc. in Bridgewater, N.J., where he was Global Controller, Global R&D Finance, responsible for global planning, forecasting and management reporting for the pharmaceuticals division.

A graduate of Miami University with a bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Janowicz received his Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University, with an emphasis in finance and accounting. Before joining Hoechst Marion Roussel, Inc. he worked for Marion Merrell Dow, Inc. as Senior Financial Analyst, Global R&D Finance, responsible for coordinating project and portfolio reviews and technical financial modeling and analysis.

ExSeed Genetics provides value-enhanced grains to the food, feed and industrial markets under the brand ExSeed Enhanced(TM) . ExSeed Genetics recently announced the release of the first low-phytate corn varieties, NutriDense LP(Tm) and Yellow Dent LP(TM) , available to swine and poultry producers throughout the United States for the 1999 growing season.
